My headers were getting too hot near the exhaust manifold, and this reflective sleeving solved the problem instantly. The three-foot length was just right for my setup, and the material slides on easily over the hose.

Stuck this on my fuel lines near the turbo, and the reflective layer actually cut down the engine bay heat soaking through the hose. Install took about 15 minutes with a quick split and wrap.

Sliced it to fit my -8 hose in about ten minutes, and the reflective outer layer held up fine when I routed it near the exhaust. It’s exactly the 3 feet I needed, and the heat protection feels solid enough for the engine bay without being bulky.
